Armin Sabanovic is a Melbourne-based graphic designer, illustrator and published children’s author with more than 15 years of creative experience. His work moves between brand identity, packaging, campaigns, illustration and visual storytelling—connected by a love of ideas with personality.
He founded Armin Design Studio around a simple belief: great creative work doesn’t need a big agency wrapped around it. Every project is developed directly with Armin, from the first rough idea through to the finished identity, campaign or experience. No layers of account management. No ideas getting lost between departments.
His approach combines strategic thinking with curiosity, experimentation and a strong instinct for storytelling. That might mean building a Japanese street-food identity, reimagining a cultural tradition through contemporary design, creating a campaign with a sense of humour, or developing an illustrated world from the first pencil sketch to a published book.
The aim is never simply to make something look good. It is to give an idea a voice, a character and a world it can belong to.
